Snowfall....

It was snowing all day yesterday, and every once in a while I would glance out the window at it and was quite content being in where it was nice and warm. It even hailed ice pellets a few times. The snow was a little heavy in the night and windy too.

(Office Parking Lot)

I woke up early this morning, as i had to attend an 8am meeting. I just glanced through the window and oh boy... I just cannot explain the beautiful sight. I could hardly see any ground, it was all covered with snow. Though my car was protected by a covered parking, it had a lot of snow in the hood and i couldn't see the faceplate. This is one of the heavy snowfall we have had this year in SLC!

(Snow in front of my office)

Just an FYI.. The 2002 Winter Olympics was held in SLC.

Nice pictures. Snowfall is really adds more beauty to the place. The most fun part is to throw snow balls on others ;)

@Sindhu - Throwing snowballs is fun, but NO ice balls. :)

@Ramesh - Welcome here! Yeah, I wish I could just sit out in my patio and watch the snowfall all day! It is so beautiful, but not the next day when it becomes so muddy.

@Brute - It was too early in the morning and i had to attend a meeting. I was not able to build one. Next time around, I will build a snowman and will name it Brute! :)

@Mystery - My uncle lives in Canada and he sends me pictures of the snow. I guess, we would have had only 50% of the snow of what you had in Canada.

@The Fox - Thanks for visiting my blog!

@Archana - :)

@Praveen - Well, its so true that your body gets used to climatic conditions wherever you live, and a change of place (environment) would undoubtedly affect the human system.

@Daffodils - Me too..

Snow is definetly beautiful as long as u see it from a protected area! It is a pain when u need to scrap it off your winshield and wear 3/4 layers of clothing!!
I am really lucky to be in the Sunshine state of Florida ;)

@Swetha - Yeah.. rightly said! I luv the snow as much as i luv the hot summer. You get to do skiing. Skiing is the most popular winter pastime in SLC.

You live in Florida? thats cool. I have planned my next vacation to Florida. Can't wait to see the Miami beach!

@Naveen - I'm sure, you do. I hope you wouldn't miss the snow, as i know it snows heavily in your place than in SLC! :)

@Neets - Check out this link to know more about Salt Lake City: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_Lake_City,_Utah

I'm into software and work for an MNC.

@Keshi - Welcome here. Thanks!

Ricky,

A lot of people think that Miami is the only destination in FL.. There are a lot more small towns which are so beautiful. I would suggest Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Coconut Grove.. All these places are only 1-2 hours from Miami..

@Swetha - Sure! I will visit these places. Thanks for letting me know.
